Andalucia Academy International School in Nairobi held its 10th graduation ceremony marking a decade of educational excellence and character building. The milestone event recognized the achievements of students from Kindergarten, Year 6, and Year 11, in a colorful ceremony attended by parents, teachers, and invited guests.
In a speech delivered in absentia, the School Director and Founder, Faisal Ibrahim Isaa, congratulated the graduates and expressed deep gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support over the years.
“Andalucia Academy International School continues to put in place measures suitable for the holistic development of every learner. Today’s success is a reflection of the partnership between the school, teachers, and parents,” said Faisal .
"Today is not only a celebration of academic success but also a celebration of sacrifice, and shared vision. To the students you’ve made us proud. To the parents your support has been the backbone of our progress," his message read.
The Director expressed his deep appreciation to the parents and the teachers stating that the graduation ceremony was a clear statement of their efforts.
“Today, we celebrate not only our students' accomplishments but also the journey we have walked together as a school community. We remain committed to putting in place systems and structures that nurture, guide, and prepare our learners for the future, as parent and the teachers you made this possible,” said Faisal.
The Guest of Honour, Abdulghani Bashir, Director of Kinderworld Academy, urged the learners to remain grounded in their values and not to be swayed by negative influences in the world.
“You are the future, but you must stay true to yourselves. Respect your parents, for they have sacrificed so much to ensure you get this education. That respect will shape who you become,” he said.
Teachers who addressed the gathering commended the school’s leadership for creating a conducive and supportive environment that has led to the success of many learners over the past decade.
They highlighted Andalucia Academy International School’s commitment to both academic excellence and character formation.
The ceremony also featured the Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards, where two top-performing students were honored for their excellence in international examinations. Khadija Mohammed Ibrahim received recognition for scoring the highest marks in Science in 2024, while Mohammed Omar was awarded for attaining the top mark in Mathematics in 2023.
